Favourite Quote: "The Secret to having more in life starts with being grateful for what you have today and now" - Unknown

Background: 👁 Freya travelled to Calgary from England to pursue her athletic and academic endeavours at the University of Calgary. She played on the UofC Dinos basketball team and competed for her national team during the summers. Freya switched to track & field and completed her BSc in Kinesiology, earning a major in Mind Sciences. These studies fueled her interest for neuroscience and psychology. After university, she experienced roles as a kinesiologist, a personal trainer, a HIIT instructor and gained research experience within the realm of learning/ social learning spaces, leadership and psychological safety. For each role, and now at Mind’s Eye, Freya has the space and opportunity to exercise her passion of supporting others on their journey to reaching their potential, alongside her own.

Giving Back: Volunteered to be a subject in eye-tracking and psychology research. Volunteered for many years as an assistant coach and team manager for the University of Calgary women's basketball team after playing for them. Organized events in Calgary to raise money for KidSport charity "So all kids can play". Participated in biking challenges to raise money for cancer charities. Volunteered for different initiatives organized by social workers in Calgary, many to ensure that forced marginalized groups gained access to certain resources.
